Jacey Koo

Jacey Koo has been playing the piano since the age of 5 and studied the piano for fourteen years under the tutelage of several different piano instructors, her latest instructor being Kenneth Landis. In the past, she was also a student through the Saint Andrew’s Conservatory of Music. Over the past few years, she has been accompanying the children’s choirs at Saint Andrew’s Chapel and has worked with the church’s Summer Music Camp. Jacey loves teaching beginner students, focusing on the specific needs and learning styles of each one.

In her spare time, Jacey also plays the flute, which she studied for four years with Sarah Hornbeck, and she has recently started learning the harp. Her experience playing orchestral music has given her an additional appreciation for the collaborative and social aspects of music. She hopes to pass on her love for the piano to her students.
