Faculty Spotlight: Anne Jueng, piano

We asked our Conservatory Faculty, Anne Jueng, the following question: Why should children study piano? “Children should study the piano because many benefits are reaped in their brain development such as: hand-eye coordination, listening skills, impulse control through understanding of rhythm, character and spiritual development, focus and attention control, self-expression, appreciation for the beauty of sound, creative thinking and self-esteem boosting.”

Anne Jueng obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance at Queens College, City University of New York, and a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance at the Ohio State University.  She has performed and taught piano for more than 25 years in New York, Ohio, and Florida, where she presently resides.  Anne is currently a member of the Orlando Music Club and Florida Federation Music Club, where her students have received Superior Ratings and also won competitions in scholarship events.
